However, listing an item on eBay and then purchasing the item from another retailer or marketplace that ships directly to your customer is not allowed on eBay.“
As we can see here since most people are instructed to use products on retail marketplaces. Each of these marketplaces has its own branding and its own seller signatures. When a buyer orders from eBay, and receives the package from the Amazon logo, and eBay is most likely to lose a potential buyer for a time.
However, the good news here is we still can drop ship items on eBay.

The problem with Amazon is, it has its own branding. Since Amazon is eBay’s biggest competitor, eBay doesn’t want their buyers to think that Amazon is much cheaper, and that’s why people doing this.

As a seller, even when you’re in the United States, your order comes from China and it takes more time. When the item doesn’t reach the buyer in the stated timeframe, you’re in trouble.
In such cases, eBay will recognize you as a retail drop shipper and ban your account.
The Best Way to Sell on eBay 2021
The best and the most profitable way to sell on eBay is through a fulfillment center by buying bulk products from wholesale sites like Alibaba. Since you can buy the products at retail price, your profit margin will be a few times more than buying from retailers.
The downside of this is, it requires a large capital to start and the risk factor is also high. The risk factor here is, if the products that you ordered, don’t sell as you guest, you’ll still have to pay the fulfillment center. If the product doesn’t sell at all, you are most likely to lose the invested capital.
